Be Kind to Someone Today

Be kind to someone today by doing a good deed, by paying it forward or by performing a random act of kindness.

What you choose to do does not have to be a big thing.  In fact, it is often the little things that have a positive impact and can really make a difference in a person's day.

Not sure what to do today?  Looking for some new ideas?  If so, hopefully this will help.  As I have started to look for options myself, I've compiled a few resources to share.  I expect to expand the lists over time, but they currently should provide good starting points for anyone searching for ideas for good deeds and random acts of kindness to perform.

You can find a list of websites that provide large collections of ideas at Web: Good Deeds and Acts of Kindness.  I've also compiled a list of books with ideas for good deeds and random acts of kindness available for purchase at Booksamillion.com.  The book list can be found at Books: Good Deeds and Acts of Kindness.  Both lists have been added to the blog resource area along with the collection of Volunteer Opportunities previously shared.  Pick an idea and choose to be kind to someone today.

For me, I'm happy to have heard that this blog has already had a positive impact.  A couple of friends have let me know that the Volunteer with Seniors post motivated each of them to improve their relationships with the seniors already in their lives - aging parents and grandparents!  Knowing this gives me motivation to continue blogging, so expect to see more from me here very soon.

Don't forget that time is precious.  Take positive action today!
